Project Tutorial - Wooden Block Wall Art

Wooden Blocks Wall Art

I received these 9 wooden blocks from Club Scrap’s “Chapter One” Stamp Kit. I decided to alter the wood blocks into a wall hanging for my scrapbook/stamp room. Each of the four sides says some thing different – “Create” “Stamp it” “Scrapbook” and “Inspire” – I embellished with lots of ribbon and flowers.

Instructions:
1. Drill holes in wood blocks.

2. Cut cardstock into pieces the size of the wood blocks.

3. Using modge podge and adhere cardstock to blocks. Let dry.

4. String blocks onto long piece of ribbon.

5. Tie 3 short strips of ribbon in between each block on the center ribbon. This will hold the blocks apart on the ribbon as it hangs.

6. Cover chipboard (or magnetic letters as I found at the dollar store) with cardstock with modge podge.

7. Adhere to the blocks using Crafter’s Pick glue.

8. Embellish any block that doesn’t house a letter with a flower.

Hope you enjoy this tutorial! Good luck and have fun!!
